Use code LOCALPICKUP at checkout to remove shipping charges.

Orders not picked up during the pickup window will be forfeited with no refund, credit, or replacement.

Order Modifications & Errors

Orders cannot be modified, but orders placed in error may be canceled prior to March 21 and refunded minus a 10% restocking fee.

Caring for Cuttings

Cuttings are small rooted starter plants and will require continued care under lights until planting time.

You are purchasing the dahlia variety, not the size or maturity of the plant.

Do not place an order unless you are comfortable caring for rooted cuttings.

Duplicate Purchases

If you purchase a cutting and later purchase the same variety as a tuber, the cutting purchase will not be refunded or credited.

Plant Health

All varieties are grown and confirmed true-to-name by the seller. Plants are grown using careful sanitation practices, but they have not been laboratory virus tested.

No refunds or replacements will be provided for suspected virus or plant health concerns after pickup.

All cutting sales are FINAL.

No refunds, returns, exchanges, or credits will be provided for any reason, including

  • Failure to pick up an order
  • Change of mind
  • Duplicate variety purchases
  • Plant size or maturity expectations
  • Suspected virus or plant health concerns

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Tuber Sales Policy

All tubers are carefully labeled and checked prior to shipping. However, mislabels may occasionally occur.

Once tubers have been delivered, we are not responsible for storage, planting, environmental conditions, or growing outcomes.

Refunds or replacements are only available for confirmed mislabels and must be reported by September 15 of the growing season. Requests received after this date cannot be honored.

If a mislabel is confirmed, customers may choose either:

  • A refund for the purchase price of the tuber only, OR A replacement tuber the following spring
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.

A note on virus...

Virus is incredibly prevalent in dahlias.

We do our best to minimize the spread of virus in our dahlias by practicing good sanitation when cutting our dahlias and by culling plants that look viral or suspicious.

Furthermore, we are inspected yearly by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for plant health. We will never knowingly reproduce or sell anything viral. As it is incredibly difficult to trace the source of virus, there will be no refunds given for a plant suspected of virus.
